We not only supply coal to our industrial and governmental customers, we also provide transportation contracts/services, ash disposal, beneficial re-use and railcar unloading services. Our professional staff has over 200 years of combined experience in:

We supply coal from operations in eastern Kentucky, southwest Virginia and West Virginia. We offer delivery via truck, rail (CSX and Norfolk Southern), barge or rail to truck. We focus on industrial and governmental users of stoker and 2xO steam coals. Our coal suppliers can blend coals in order to meet required chemical or physical characteristics.
The majority of our suppliers have the capability of shipping either single cars or unit trains. All have reserve bases of 10 + years. Our operations produce a combination of strip mined and deep mined (washed) coal. We have supply experience with the following types of customers:

In addition to supplying coal and related services J & J Energy works exclusively with Transloading Services Inc.(T.S.I.). T.S.I. provides railcar unloading services for some of our customers which allows them to achieve the economy of rail service and the convenience and cost reduction (lower in-plant unloading cost) of truck delivery.
